IMO-gen

Edd, Higgins and I trekked up to Oxford last night to go see Imogen Heap, shame more people couldn't have come - it was fucking amazing! If you know me, you'll know I've been fanning out over her pretty bad over the last year or so, I'm sorry!

I took my camera, but it was of fuck all use as it was pretty dark in there! Here's the most plausible photos I took.

Her set was long too - about one and a half hours, all good. This was by far the highlight of the night though: imagine this, but live. It wor epic.

Buzzbarn!

Word of this thing has been going round for ages, but the other day we actually got to check out a barn that we can apparently use to skate. There's not much in there at the moment, but after a while it should turn out to be a good little indoor spot.

Just for now though we've plonked a sketchy mini ramp (useing two quarters and a pile of chipboard for flatbottom!) in there. It's got a few holes in, an you can only skate one small section of it, but with a bit of work it could turn out to be really good. Here's some pictures:

The surface wood is only thin, so this tends to happen quite alot...

Ghetto digital camera footage!

Give it a bit of time and work, and this thing will be amazing. Hopefully.

Cirque du jerque

It was our work's do on sunday... well, I say 'do', more precisely it was our Christmas outing (in January). Nonetheless, it was rather fun. We all trekked up to London to watch the Cirque du Soleil show in the Royal Albert Hall. It's like one of those modern circus things, and it was pretty good! For those who still have no idea what I'm on about, it went a bit like this:

After all that, I fell asleep for a bit on the way home, then our boss treated us all to a proper dinner at her place. I found out what venesan is (deer apparently!) and I probably drunk a bit too much to be in the company of work people. Alas. Here's some photos.

Rob, Jo, Sonia and Lorna - who doesn't actually work with us, but does. Oui.

Our Executive decision maker/bouncer/morale booster here in the middle here, she's ace.

Yes, we wore Christmas hats and pulled crackers..... brilliant.

Fun day all in all. Feels like I've been at work for a week already, and it's only Tuesday...

2007 ennit!

Where on earth did 2006 go?

I think one of my resolutions was to update this thing a bit more regularly, so here I am. The last post I did was back in the summer...?

I'll start at the beginning.

New Years was bloody fantastic. Lots of boozing, lots of streetboozing, and gatecrashing some random 'party' that turned out to be three people chilling in their flat. Whoops!

Memories are a bit of a blur, and I didn't have a camera out with me - good job someone from the Newbury Weekly did! Shit!

Trust him to follow us to the clocktower aswell. Once again we turned up a few moments too late!

Cheers to everyone that was out, you all made it a grand night!

In other news The Forward Motion (Jon's baby) video Accents is coming along fairly well considering it's the middle shit part of winter! Here's the cover he did. Nice innit?

Just to prove it is actually a video (and not just a flashy cover!) here's the promo we've got up for it. Hopefully we'll be getting this bastard thing done and dusted by the summer, and also have a premiere night to remember (or not) to go with it!

Enjoi.
